The waves generated by Zawawi Trading Co.'s (ZTC) launch of the spectacular Mercedes-Benz CLS aboard a luxury super yacht continue to garner industry acclaim, winning two new acco-lades at the recent Middle East Event Awards (MEEA) 2012 held in Dubai. 

'Highly Commended' in the 'Best Event - On a Budget' and the 'Best Corporate Product or Service Launch' MEEA categories, the regional honours follow an international Silver Trophy in the 'Best New Promotion (Product Launch)' category of the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards, held at the IFEA's 56th Annual Convention & Expo in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.A on 3rd October last year.

The CLS launch was attended by over 150 VIP guests welcomed in Port Sultan Qaboos by regally clad Arabian horses and riders as they boarded a luxury super yacht, before enjoying sumptuous drinks, canapés and a sunset cruise of Muscat's majestic coastline. The iconic new CLS four door coupé was dramatically unveiled by the event host and Deputy Chairman of Zawawi Trading Co. L.L.C, Waleed Bin Omar Zawawi.

The fashionable four door coupé is available in three variants - CLS 350, CLS 500 and CLS 63 AMG from Zawawi Mercedes-Benz showrooms across Oman.
